Oh wow, a
very brief synopsis? God, anyone who's ever read even a single
part of the Behind The Scenes series (hereafter referred to as BTS)
knows that I can't even write a brief grocery list any more.
When I first started writing BTS, I was working on another WWE story.
One that had already hit seven parts with no signs of stopping any time
in the foreseeable future - as weird as it was. Then out of the blue, a
list sib hit me with what at the time was a sarcastic challenge.
Simply put, she
challenged writers on the list to tell how the wrestler of our choice
celebrated his victory from the May 17, 2004 airing of RAW, "or in
Hunter's case, his defeat since he's the only one who lost!" I didn't
take that very well, needless to say. So I sat down and decided to
write something that just dropped the jaws of everyone who read it.
Thusly, part one
"Surprise" of BTS was born.
Initially, I had no
intention of it being a series. Just a single PWP one shot deal. But
my characters had other ideas. And friends. Lots and lots of friends.
The next thing I knew, I was writing epic chapters surpassing 100
printed pages each, in some cases. I've spent the past three years
working on this monstrosity, and for the most part, I've not regretted
it. I've made wonderful friends because of BTS, and I've lost some
friends too. I've established a fan base for my work - a fact that
freaks me out just thinking about it sometimes. I've made some enemies,
and even picked up a net-stalker or two. But all in all, I'm a much
happier person since this fictional baby was conceived.
Ahh....what else?
Oh yeah, the very brief synopsis that my WebBitch wanted. Here
goes.
Triple H is a
wrestler at the top of his profession. For the fans and on camera he's
calm, cool, and collected. Large and in charge and the master of his
domain. Top alpha dog that no one dares screw with. That's the public
man. But what is he like when the curtain closes and he stops being the
Game and is only Hunter? A man deeply in love with a redheaded Southern
beauty that loves him as he is, flaws and all, and usually makes him
crazy half the time? How do they love, live, and laugh? What are their
friends and families like? It's taken the better part of three years to
answer just seven months worth of those questions and it's not done
yet.
How's that for
very brief?
Oh, and that other
WWE fan fiction story I was working on when BTS first reared it's head?
It's safely tucked away for whenever I get finished with this epic
that has taken over my life.
What
are you still doing here? Go. Read.
