Part 1 of 4

She was traveling with David more frequently as his scheduled got busier, but she wasn’t traveling with him full time, just on busy days. She took care of his appearances and all the things that needed to happen to make them go smoothly, including verifying the availability of supplies for the fans and ensuring adequate security. The office was taking care of the travel arraignments. She took care of her own, but there were many times when there weren’t any rooms available and she ended up rooming with David.

There were always two beds in the rooms, so it wasn’t ever a big deal, just an inconvenience to both of them. They had talked about it the first time and them bunking together was better than her staying with any other member of Evolution. Plus, the other guys all wanted to have their own rooms for their own privacy, particularly Randy. It wasn’t ideal, but it worked when needed. Unfortunately there were some times when some over zealous fans managed to sneak into their room, thinking that David might like to play, only to find her coming out of the bathroom instead. It always made her laugh later, but she enjoyed throwing the rats out, telling them he was taken, sorry. She knew they thought she was referring to herself, but that wasn’t important to her. Sleeping alone was. She knew there were several times when the discarded rats found their way to Randy’s room to a much warmer reception. As long as everybody was happy, she didn’t care.

The straw that finally broke the camel’s back and got her involved in all of Evolution’s travel arraignments was transportation. The limo that picked all five of them up from the hotel and dropped them at the arena that night was adequate, roomy enough for four large men and one small woman, but not much else. Unfortunately, that limo had some sort of mechanical problem and was replaced with a smaller one. There was no other option but for all of them to crowd into it. If they were four normal sized adults it wouldn’t have been that much of a crush, but the boys of Evolution weren’t normal sized, plus there was still one small woman to squeeze in. She remembered watching all of them pack into the car with dismay, seeing her little tiny space evaporate. She thought initially that she might fit, but it just wasn’t possible. They all looked out at her, shoulder to shoulder, knees almost touching trying to figure out where she’d fit.

Ric jokingly said, “Well, there’s room in the trunk for ya, little girl.” She shook her head as she considered her options. She could try to catch a ride with one of the other guys, but then things might get sticky later and she didn’t want to cope with that.

“What are you talking about? She can fit in here,” Hunter said, his eyes twinkling at her. He and Randy were closest to her, David and Ric were packed in the other side, facing each other. She shook her head at them.

“No, I’ll catch a ride with someone else, thanks,” she said to Hunter. He made some sort of motion to Randy, she didn’t catch it, and he snaked his arm out and dragged her in to the crowded car, right on his lap. “What do you think you’re doing,” she demanded of the youngest member of Evolution.

“Lil’ Sis, we’re not leaving you behind,” Hunter stated in a tone that meant no argument. She glared at him, knowing it wasn’t going to do any good. David smiled at her, Ric winked at her and she couldn’t tell what Randy would have done. She just knew she didn’t want to be sitting on his lap for the long drive back to the hotel. She felt so humiliated, like a little kid. They were always treating her like a kid, she felt. Unless of course she was making their life easier, then that was different. But tonight was little kid treatment and she hated it. Hunter was still smiling at her and glancing at Randy, whose face she couldn’t see, but she could hear him breathe and feel him.

Ric asked her, “What’s tomorrow look like, little girl?”

“Early morning flight, then a photo shoot for all of you. If there’s time after that, you have a special visit lined up. Hunter has a make a wish boy coming to see him at the arena. Randy and David have a relatively easy day, once the photo shoot is done, barring any last minute additions that the office might throw your way,” she finished. The car started to move and she felt Randy’s arm sneak across her hips to keep her safe. She didn’t have anything to hold on to, so it made sense to her. She didn’t fight him on that.

Ric was nodding and grinning at David, “That’s what I love about this little girl. She knows there’s gonna be some shit tomorrow and when it happens she’ll fix it,” he said.

Another thought had occurred to her, “Hunter, did you make that call to find out what Daniel wanted,” she asked him, referring to the specific request of his special visitor tomorrow.

“Shit, no. I forgot,” he admitted.

She let her disappointment show. “Damn it. How could you forget that? Okay, I’ll take care of it tomorrow,” she told him. He nodded his thanks. The others in the car were amazed that he let her talk to him like that. No one said anything for a while.

She felt Randy stir and he leaned forward for some reason. He didn’t say or do anything as far as she could tell. She stayed still not knowing what the hell he was doing. Hunter and Ric looked at him and grinned, then looked at her and tried to wipe their faces clean of expression. She glared at them, but they ignored her. David winked at her and looked away. What the hell?

“Carrie, you smell good,” she heard Randy whisper in her ear. He said it so quietly that she knew no one else could hear it above the road noise. She shook her head faintly at his comment. Damn it, that was exactly why she didn’t want to be on his lap. He was still leaning close to her ear when she heard him take a deep breath and let it out with a quiet groan. Oh god no, was her thought. How much fucking longer was this ride going to be? She knew it was at least half an hour and probably a lot longer with the traffic tonight due to the ice. Oh god, she was worried something like this was gong to happen. He was enjoying having her on his lap a little too much for her comfort. She knew that fact intimately, he couldn’t hide it and she was pretty sure he didn’t want to. She looked over at the other occupants and saw Ric had his eyes closed, trying to rest. David was doing the same, but she could tell he wasn’t as successful at it yet. Hunter had his shades on so she couldn’t tell. She looked at him and mouthed the words ‘asshole, I’m gonna get you for this’. His mouth twitched up at the corners but said nothing. She knew he knew what Randy was doing, but he wasn’t going to say anything about it. She didn’t know that later Hunter chewed his ass and told him to leave her alone if he wanted to see his next birthday.

“Carrie, you smell good enough to,” he whispered, leaving the last of his sentence unfinished, thank God. She shook her head again and tried to ignore the pressure that was starting to dig into her hip and make itself known. How much longer in this damn car? He continued to breathe in her ear, enjoying her scent. She leaned over and slid the roof open for a bit of fresh air, hoping it might cool Randy down a little. At least it gave her some fresh air, since they were packed in to the damn car so tightly. Hunter watched her actions, but said nothing, knowing he was going to have a serious conversation with their youngest member later. He knew it wouldn’t get too out of hand with all of them in the car, but also knew she was very uncomfortable. He didn’t want to say anything now, that would bring Dave into it and he didn’t want that. At least not yet.

She knew what Randy was like, he never made any secret of it and there were plenty of satisfied ladies he left in his wake. Why would he think she’d want to be one of them, she didn’t know. But she had zero interest in him, she thought of him as a little brother, a pain in the ass little brother at times, but still a little brother. His grip on her hips tightened a little as he breathed in her scent again. Was this damn ride ever going to end? David and Ric both looked like they were resting, finally. She guessed that Hunter wasn’t and she knew Randy wasn’t, he was wide awake and enjoying himself, damn it.

“Carrie,” was all he whispered next time. She ignored him. She wasn’t going to ask him to finish his sentence, she didn’t want to know. She just concentrated on tomorrow’s schedule and how she could make sure the car fiasco never happened again. Once that was all done, then and only then, would she have a quiet word with Hunter about tonight. Randy tried to slide his hand up off her hips into other areas and she stopped him with a firm grip on his hand. He tried to move it and ignore her, but she had his hand gripped in a way that she knew would hurt if she squeezed. He tried to shake her hand off and continue his enjoyment and she squeezed. She heard his quick intake of breath and knew she hurt him, not much but enough to get his attention. She didn’t know that Hunter had witnessed it and noted Randy’s surprised expression. Hunter guessed that Randy thought she would be a lot easier to overpower because of her size and she had just let him know how mistaken he was. Interesting, she’s full of tricks, he thought to himself. He kept his face impassive because he didn’t want Randy to know that he was awake and watching.

Finally they arrived at their hotel, and her ride from hell was finished. She and David were roomies, since the rest of the rooms were booked, over booked actually. Several of the wrestlers had to take rooms at one of the nearby places. The fact that Evolution didn’t let her room with any of the ladies in the company just fueled the fires that she must be sleeping with at least one of them, if not all, unless of course she was gay and then it didn’t matter if they all slept together. She was aware of some of the gossip surrounding her and Evolution. Most of the time she ignored it, knowing people will think what they want regardless of facts. Once the car finally pulled through and stopped she jumped out quickly and went to the back of the car for her small bag. Randy tried to grab her but he missed her by a mile, she was a lot quicker than he had bargained for. The driver unlatched the trunk, she grabbed her stuff and was gone without a glance or word to any of them. She was so irritated with all of them and with herself for allowing it to get to her. They were just trying to protect her she knew, even if they did treat her like a child. Men, she thought to herself. She opted to take the stairs, knowing that the elevator would probably invite conversation, if she was trapped with someone from the company and she wasn’t up to it in her current state of mind, she knew.

Hunter watched her leap out of the car and dash away. Ric was still waking up and hadn’t got out of the car yet. David was stretching from his cramped nap and didn’t see her go so he looked to Hunter.

“Where’d she go,” he asked.

“To her room, I’m sure,” Hunter replied. David nodded, Randy was reaching in the trunk for his bag when Hunter grabbed his wrist firmly and said, “We need to have a little talk, Legend Killer.” Randy’s surprise showed on his face, but he eventually nodded knowing Hunter was going to talk to him if he wanted him to or not. David looked over to Hunter at his statement to Randy with a question on his lips. Hunter shook his head, he wanted this private. Ric was getting out of the car and knew exactly what Hunter was going to talk to their youngest member about. It was over due, but tonight’s actions forced Hunter’s hand.

David grabbed his bag and turned to wait on the others, but Hunter waved him off, telling him he’d seen him soon enough, thanks to their early flight. Hunter waited for David to walk away into the lobby and for the car to pull away before he said anything. He looked over at Ric with a quirk to an eyebrow, questioning him if he really wanted to be a part of this. Ric nodded in response to his unasked question.

Hunter guided Randy to follow him so they were out of public view but not inside. They went around the outside of the building out of view for their talk. Hunter set his bag down, signifying they were in a satisfactory place before he said anything.

Turning to Randy who was still thinking of the pretty lady on his lap and smiling to himself, he said, “I hope you enjoyed your lap ride?” At that question, Randy nodded. “Good, because it will never happen again,” Hunter said with quiet intensity. Randy looked directly at him, not understanding him or his tone for a moment.

“What? Wait a minute. Says who,” he asked his mentor.

“Says me,” Hunter said even quieter as he looked him straight in the eyes and stared him down. Randy looked away, clearly cowed but confused.

“But, Hunter. I like her,” he whined.

“Too bad. Haven’t you figured it out yet that she doesn’t like you? She doesn’t want to be just another toy for you. She’s got too much class for that, too much class for you. Hell, she’s really got too much class for all of us, but she seems to tolerate us. She is here to help us, help Dave really, but we benefit from her knowledge and patience. She’s not here for you. Got that? If you want a play toy, find one of the many willing females.” Hunter glared at him, making sure his meaning was clear.

Randy looked confused and was going to say something, but Hunter stopped him with, “You notice Dave isn’t here? I did you a favor by leaving him out this time. Next time I won’t be so nice.” Hunter turned away from Randy and walked back to the hotel lobby in silence. He knew Ric wanted to say something but hoped he’d wait until they were in the elevators.

Once the doors of the elevator closed, Ric asked, “You think you got through to him?”

“I hope so, because he’s a good kid, but he’s a kid. He’s been acting like a kid in a candy store with all the women. But he needed to learn that not all of them are for him. He needed to be reminded to mind his manners around her. She did a pretty good job of it herself tonight. She hurt him in the car and I have no idea how, but it worked,” he told the older man.

“I hope you got through to him because we’ve all seen Big Dave mad before and none of us wants that again,” he chuckled. “She shouldn’t have to put up with his shit. You think she’ll say anything,” he asked the blonde man as they stepped out on to their floor.

“I don’t know. She’s tough to read,” he admitted. Then he chuckled, “Don’t be surprised if our young legend killer ends up with a black eye or something as she proves her point.”

She was already ready for bed in her shorts and t shirt when David walked into their room. Her back was to him, reading. He could tell by her posture that she was pissed about something, he just wasn’t sure what. He also wasn’t sure if he wanted to stir that pot. He set his bag down, put his card on his table and slipped off his jacket. He was still deciding if he wanted to talk to her about whatever the hell was bugging her. She was usually quiet and unperturbed, so he didn’t have much practice talking to her about shit. He knew how to talk to her sister. Well, most of the time, he reminded himself. He reached for his bag and grabbed his co-ed nightwear, as Lil’ Sis called it, and went into the bathroom to change.

He was still debating with himself as he flushed the toilet and started to change his clothes. He stopped himself with a headshake and stepped back out in to the main room. He grabbed his key card again and left without a word to her. She didn’t look his way or acknowledge him. He walked three doors down and knocked.

“This had better be good, who ever the hell you are,” the voice on the other side said.

“It is,” was all he said in response. The door opened and Hunter looked at David, not sure why he was at his door. He started to get a bad feeling, thinking maybe Lil Sis has said something about the car ride, judging by Dave’s glower. Oh shit, he wasn’t ready to deal with Dave about that yet.

“What can I do for you, buddy,” Hunter said as he stroked his chin and smiled.

“Let me in, we need to talk,” David said seriously. Hunter’s brow rose at that, but wordlessly stepped aside to admit the big man. He took several slow breaths, trying to figure out what the hell the other man wanted to talk to him about. He had hoped his talk with Randy would end it, but it didn’t look like it.

David took in the room’s lived in look, clothes draped all over, towels on the floor and the bed already messed up, or maybe still, he wasn’t sure and he didn’t care. He also noticed Hunter had changed into a pairs of shorts and a t shirt, leaving his gangster attire on a chair.

David sat in the room’s only chair and waited for Hunter to walk back from the door. Hunter took his time, he grabbed a water bottle, opened it and drank from it first. Then he walked back and sat on the bed, opposite the other man.

“What’s eating you, buddy,” Hunter asked, hoping he didn’t know.

David shook his head and asked, “Are you the only one in here?” Hunter nodded and waited for his protégé to get whatever it was off his chest. David took a deep breath, hoping to calm himself, but he could feel it having the opposite effect.

“Explain to me why I shouldn’t beat the shit out of Orton,” he said in a dangerous tone. Shit, Hunter thought. This is not the kind of thing that Evolution needed right now. He had hoped Dave was unaware of Orton’s shit in the car, but obviously he was wrong.

“I told him next time, he’s all yours, buddy,” Hunter said, not bothering to ask what David was referring to. He hoped that would be the end of it

“Not good enough,” David said quietly. He couldn’t get the image of her upset and angry profile out of his head. He had promised his wife he would protect her and keep her safe and he couldn’t even keep his supposed friends away from her. Kris didn’t want her sister to have to travel with the boys, as she called them. She had traveled with them for a little while and knew the kind of shit that they could and did get into. He needed help and she couldn’t help him anymore so Carrie had offered to help him. He was surprised at the time, but gratefully accepted her offer. He had learned that since Kris was his wife, she was treated with a certain amount of respect, but Carrie didn’t get that and he was angry about it. She deserved better, she worked hard for him, for all of Evolution and Randy couldn’t keep himself under control. Hunter saw the other man clenching and unclenching his jaw and knew that he was more upset than he let on.

“What else did you want me to do, Dave? Beat the hell out of him? Okay, okay, I know that does sound good to you right now,” Hunter said as he saw David nod in response to his rhetorical question.

“Let me. Let me beat his ass,” David said as his voice that started to rise to match his temper.

“They’ll be time enough for that, trust me. They’re some shit in the wind you’re gonna love, but you have to be patient,” he looked at the man sitting opposite him and realized the futility of his words. He wasn’t going to be able to be patient and he didn’t blame him. If Carrie was his sister, he would have just knocked on Orton’s door and pounded him when he opened it.

“Damn it, Hunter. She needs to be protected not just from outsiders but she needs to be safe from us, for fuck’s sake,” he said, trying hard to control his temper. Hunter nodded in understanding. He sat quietly for a few minutes. He held up his hand to keep David quiet while he thought things through.

“Okay, I guess it’s time we make an example out of someone, and we let everyone know why. Think that’ll be enough to send the message?” Hunter hoped it was, because he wasn’t ready to pull the trigger on the next step of Evolution, they still had some months before that stage was set to begin.

“You gonna let me in on it,” David smiled at him. Hunter shook his head.

“I don’t think that’s a good idea buddy. We don’t want them dead, just hurt and messy,” he smirked back at him. David scowled at his mentor, but realized he was probably right. He knew if he allowed himself to go anywhere near Orton right now, he wouldn’t stop. It was the main reason he went to Hunter’s door, not Orton’s.

Several minutes after David left his room, someone else was knocking on the door. Carrie ignored it, not wanting to talk to anyone right now. Damn it, who ever it was didn’t get the hint very well. She made sure she was decent enough for mixed company, not wanting to give anyone else the wrong impression and peeked out the spy hole. Son of a bitch, she thought to herself. Is he dumb or just stupid?

“Go away, Slim. I don’t want to talk to you,” she said through the door.

“Oh, c’mon Carrie. I want to apologize to you. Let me in so I can beg your forgiveness,” he said from the other side of the door. He looked up and down the hall and saw it was deserted, thankfully. Did he think she was as stupid as him or what? She shook her head over his tactics.

“No, sorry. You’re gonna have to apologize through the door. I’m not opening it up to you or anyone tonight. Sorry,” she said through the door, hoping he’d get the hint.

“C’mon Carrie. I’m sorry. I’m sorry about tonight. What more do you want me to say,” he asked her through the door. Her immediate response was to think you’d never do it again and you’re an asshole for even thinking it, but she kept that to herself. “I promise to behave. Let me in so I can say it to you in person,” he said in a last ditch effort.

Damn it, was she being a bitch to him just because she was still pissed and he really was trying to be a nice guy and apologize? Against her better judgment, she cracked the door open. He looked in her eyes through the door crack and smiled.

“Hi, nice to see you Carrie,” he grinned at her. She rolled her eyes at him and stepped back to open the door and admit him. She knew as soon as she cracked the door it was a mistake, but she’d deal with the consequences if necessary. He kept his distance, but looked around the room, probably checking to see where David was, she surmised.

“What did you want to say to me that you couldn’t through the door,” she asked him with her hands on her hips, sending her message loud and clear.

His mouth twisted, “Oh, don’t be like that. I just wanted to apologize for my behavior earlier. I made you uncomfortable and I’m sorry.” He hoped that she would believe him because he wanted her to continue to help and travel with them. He might have to wait a while to wear her down, but he was sure of his charm and chances with her; at least enough to apologize to her now. It would be worth it, he knew. She peered at him, turning over what he said; trying to make sure she wasn’t missing any innuendo as she considered his apology.

David and Hunter stepped out of the room and started to walk back to their room, intent on letting their Lil’ Sis know that she was safe and tonight’s shit would never happen again. They saw Randy leave Lil’ Sis’s room, shutting the door behind him. David glared at him. Randy smirked back, he couldn’t help himself. David grabbed him by the neck without thought.

“No, Dave no! Not here, not now. Let the little bastard go,” Hunter urged as he stepped up in to David face. He ignored Randy, knowing he needed to get through to his attacker. David sliced his eyes over to Hunter, not loosening his grip on the little bastard. “Remember what I said earlier, buddy,” Hunter tried to remind the enraged man. He saw David grit his teeth, debating with himself. With one last glare at the purple faced little bastard, he released his grip. He glared at the younger man, willing him to go away or he’d be tempted to finish what he had started. Randy realized the danger he was in and walked straight to his room without a backward glance. They both heard his coughs as he tried to get his breath back. David frowned at his retreating back, knowing he had him and could have made the little bastard pay, but Hunter had stopped him, this time. Hunter waited until Randy’s door shut behind him before he said anything.

Hunter had a brief thought regarding why Ric was so happy to let Hunter be the leader of their group, even though he was just, if not more, qualified for it. It was this kind of shit, the kind of shit that Ric didn’t want to have to deal with anymore.

“Why don’t we make sure she’s okay, before you kill anybody,” Hunter suggested to the other man. David blinked, swore as he dug his key out of his pocket and ran it through the lock and ripped open the door. Carrie whirled around as the door was shoved open, ready to strike. She didn’t trust Orton.

David and Hunter reared back when they saw her crouched and ready. She relaxed, stood up and took a breath, seeing it was them.

“Sorry, I thought you were someone else,” she admitted with embarrassment.

“No shit,” Hunter said as he replayed what he just witnessed.

“Who did you think we were, Orton,” David asked her quietly. He remembered Kris telling him she had an extensive martial arts background, but he’d just brushed it off. He’d pay more attention to his wife’s words from now on, he knew.

“Yeah,” she shrugged. “Sorry for startling you,” she said as she walked to the other side of the room to regain her composure and try to pretend she hadn’t just been ready to seriously hurt them.

“Did I just see the little bastard leave here,” Hunter asked her. He was curious and wanted to hear what she had to say about that. He was also very curious about the skill she had displayed unknowingly.

“Yeah, shit head said he wanted to apologize. He whined at the door so long that I thought I’d better let him in so he didn’t disturb anyone else,” she said quietly. David clenched his jaw again, in an effort to stop himself from turning around and beating the hell out of the little bastard.

“Did he? Did he apologize,” Hunter asked her. She nodded and smiled.

“Is he an only child or something,” she asked both of them. David frowned, not sure what the hell that had to do with anything. Hunter considered her question for a second before answering, not sure if she knew he was an only child also.

“Yeah, I think he is. Why,” Hunter asked.

She laughed, “That explains it.” At their confused look, she continued, “He thinks that everyone thinks the sun shines out his ass. Typical behavior of a spoiled only child. He stood right where you are Hunter and fed me the biggest line of shit you’ve ever heard. I’m sure he convinced himself, but he didn’t convince me. I have a sister and a brother, I know better.” The room was silent for a few moments as everyone kept their thoughts private. Hunter considered his next words carefully.

“Carrie, you have more than one brother,” Hunter said with quiet intensity. David nodded at his mentor’s words. She looked up into Hunter’s forceful gaze and slowly nodded, as his meaning dawned on her. Hunter wrapped his arms around her and just held her, letting her know she wasn’t alone and that he would protect her like she was his own. Several minutes passed before she pulled away, embarrassed at herself for soaking up his strength and letting him hold her.

“Why are you two here,” she asked them both, more to hide her own embarrassment, she knew. Hunter smiled and winked at her.

“To tell you Dave gets to beat the little bastard’s ass next time. But you know, I think we should let you do it. You looked like you could’ve done some damage,” he said with a grin to her. David shook his head and sat down on his bed. He took his shoes off and reached for his clothes again. “You want to tell me about that, Lil’ Sis,” he asked her. She frowned, knowing that he was curious but also recognizing the weight behind his calling her Lil’ Sis, he meant it.

“Not really,” she shrugged, embarrassed. He looked at her, wanting her to tell him more, he was curious. He thought it might also explain what he saw in the car tonight with Orton. She pointed at the bathroom door, “Let’s wait, I don’t want to have to repeat myself, please.” Hunter shrugged, he was fine with that. He was just damn curious about his little sister, she was full of surprises.

“Hunter, before I start on that, I have something else I wanted to talk to you about,” she said seriously since he was attentive. He motioned for her to go ahead. “The shit that happened tonight,” she started to say as he stirred and frowned, getting ready to be pissed, she was sure. “Anyway, that shit with the car doesn’t need to happen, that’s just piss poor planning. It’s just another example of the office’s terrible mismanagement of schedules.” He blinked; it wasn’t what he had expected to hear from her. She saw his look and continued on as David walked out of the bathroom, changed. “It’s been bugging me for months now, but tonight was the last straw.” She saw David’s frown since he was coming in to the conversation half way. She took another deep breath before she took the plunge. “I’d like to take over Evolution’s schedule, if you’ll let me. There’s so much wasted time and effort, it drives me nuts,” she finished and sat down.

He sat on the edge of her bed quietly, thinking about what she had just said. He wasn’t prepared to even consider it, but he thought maybe she could do a better job. They did have a lot of time just sitting and doing nothing when they could be doing something else, even if it was sleeping.

“Okay, when did you want to try this? I’m willing to let you try and see if you can make things better. You’re right, there really isn’t any excuse for some of the shit,” he said as he rubbed his chin again. David was quiet, laying on his bed, thinking it through.

“Right now. Tomorrow’s a cluster if I don’t make some changes. There’s really no reason you and Ric don’t have time for your special visitors. All I want to know from each of you is what is most important to you, sleep, free time, eat, gym, whatever. Then I can juggle it and see if we can make better use of your time,” she said as she looked over at David, noting his confusion.

“Are you serious? You could give us more time,” David asked because it was everyone’s biggest complaint, the hurry up and wait shit drove them all nuts.

“Yes, some of it is easy to fix. Some will take some time, but I can guarantee you it won’t be worse. I’ll be bugging you guys with questions for the next couple of days and weeks, but it’ll be worth it…for all of us. I won’t have to tolerate that shit again,” she said in reference to the lap ride. Hunter nodded and thought for a moment. Carrie continued, “You guys are supposed to be styling and profiling, but that isn’t happening most of the time. Let me see if I can fix that for ya,” she said with a wink to the blonde man on the edge of her bed. All three were quiet again, lost in their own thoughts for a while.

Hunter stirred first and said, “Tell me about that Bruce Lee shit I saw, Lil’ Sis.” David looked over at his friend and grinned, he was curious too.

She sighed and dragged her fingers through her hair, messing it up more than normal. Both men stayed quiet, waiting for her to say something. She shrugged, “I don’t know what you want to know, really. I’ve studied several disciplines in one form or another most of my life, from the time I was in grade school.”

Hunter’s eye’s lost their far away look for a moment and he grinned. “So you really could’ve beat Orton’s ass,” he asked her. She looked at him from the chair and shrugged.

“Sure. Everyone has a weakness or two,” she said quietly, not wanting to dwell on it. Hunter recognized her reticence and let it drop, but kept that information, in case it was needed later.

He grinned at her and asked, “Think you could beat my ass.” David chuckled at the question, knowing how strong Hunter was. Carrie was quiet for a moment, she didn’t answer automatically.

“Hunter, I know you. I know your weaknesses, I watch you walk and what you favor, so yeah. The answer is yes. It has nothing to do with strength, believe me. Before you ask me another one, yes, David too.” She said quietly. David’s brows rose at that piece of news, he didn’t ever think of his Lil’ Sis as a threat and he knew Hunter didn’t either. Both big men were quiet, reassessing the lady in front of them, there was a lot more to her than met the eye. Hunter looked over at her with an unspoken question.

She sighed and answered, “You’re damn quad is bugging you, you have a knot in the middle of your back and your left bicep is also giving you twinges,“ she said to the stunned blonde man. David blinked as he heard her recite a few of Hunter’s nagging injuries. He didn’t know about the bicep and he hadn’t noticed it either.

Part 2 of 4

Carrie shook her head as she spotted the red headed bitch draped over Randy’s lean frame in the lobby. She saw the smug look directed her way from the Diva. The red head obviously thought that she would care that Randy was sleeping with her. She was wrong in more ways than one. She knew Randy well and knew his appetites. She was betting that Christy thought it was serious. She knew Randy was just out for himself and a good time, as usual. She knew she should feel bad for the red headed twit for being in that position, but she couldn’t work up even a little bit of sympathy for her.

The few weeks that Christy had been with Smack Down had been interesting, from her perspective. When David had told her about the transfer of her and Stacey, she wasn’t too sure she’d be able to hold her temper around the bimbo. She was pleasantly surprised at her tolerance for the stupid bitch, due mostly because Christy was just so clueless about life and how the business worked.

She saw her zero in on a few of the boys and get what she wanted from them, quickly. She wasn’t sure what her purpose was other than to prove how easy she was to the boys, since that’s exactly what she’d done. She had tried to finagle David, but he was up for the challenge and was more forceful and nasty than she’d seen from him in a long time.

“What was that, Christy,” David asked.

“I said, I wanted to continue this conversation in private,” she purred. He shook his head at her stupidity and tenacity, knowing that he wasn’t going to be nice.

“Christy, I seriously doubt if you’ve ever had an intelligent conversation in your life. Most of your conversations end up with you flat on your back, naked. No thanks, not interested in sloppy seconds, or thirds or whatever you’re up to, today,” he said evenly in to her surprised eyes. She raised her hand, ready to slap him and he caught her pathetic attempt with a smirk.

“Why don’t you go find someone else to play with? I’m sure there’s somebody that you haven’t had a private conversation with yet,” David said quietly. Christy was embarrassed and angry, something she didn’t know how to deal with very well.

“How can you say that, Dave? After all we’ve been through,” she simpered as she leaned into him.

“Pffftttttttt. Christy, you make me sick. You know that. If you need to be reminded, l can always ask Carrie to help you with that,” he finished as he stepped away from her. Christy’s eyes flashed over to the small woman a few feet away. She narrowed her gaze at the hated woman and mouthed the word bitch to her. The object of her hatred just shrugged and smiled back at her. They both watched her walk away, knowing that things were going to get interesting.

Carrie was amazed that Christy seemed to think that sleeping with Randy was getting back at either of them. David shook his head at his younger friend, knowing he was old enough to make his own decisions, even if they were dumb. Carrie kept her opinions to herself, but knew that when something better came along, the red head would be dropped like the piece of trash she was. It was just how Randy operated. She had seen him in action many times and was amazed that he had gone back for seconds and thirds with Christy. It didn’t stop him from appreciating any of the other ladies he was surrounded by daily. He let all of them know he thought they were beautiful, but Christy was always nearby to stop any playfulness from developing. Carrie knew he’d only tolerate that shit from her for so long before he put his foot down.

She and David were in the lobby of the hotel, waiting for their car to pick them up for the short ride to the arena. They had already had a full day, filled with several fan events and signings. Randy was waiting for his car to arrive also. Christy just happened to be with him in the lobby, probably saving her own money and hitching a ride with him, Carrie thought.

She nodded her head in time with her own music that she always associated with the red head. As she played back the lyrics, “You’re always stabbing, grabbing, trying to get it back in, but girl you must be getting slow,” she cracked a smile with a glance at David.

“What’s got you grinning this afternoon,” he asked with a tilt of his brow as he glanced at the spectacle in the lobby.

“I’ll tell ya later. It’s funny, don’t worry,” she promised. He nodded at her, seeing that she was in an interesting mood. He wasn’t sure if she was giddy or bitchy, it was a fine line sometimes with her. He saw her head bobbing up and down but didn’t see her tunes plugged in. Weird, he thought.

She continued with her own private music, “You’re loving on the take, and you’re always on the make, squeezing all the blood out of men.” She almost chuckled out loud at the appropriateness of that line. More coming before she could stop herself, “So stop your love on the road, all your digging for gold, you make me wonder, yes I wonder…Honey, whaddya do for money.” She was still smiling as she looked over at the couple and received a glare from the red head. Whatever, she thought. She was just too stupid to even give a shit about, she knew. AC/DC songs were almost always good for a laugh, and this afternoon that song fit her mood perfectly, she knew. She smiled as she looked over at David’s scowl. She could tell he thought she’d lost her mind.

“It’s her, David. When ever I see her, I get a song in my head and can’t shake it.” He glanced at her, his brow lifted in response to her words. He knew which her she was referring to.

His lips started to lift into a smile as he asked her, “What’s the song this afternoon?”

“Whaddya do for money honey,” was all she got out before his laugh escaped.

“Lil’ Sis, you’re bad. That’s good. Very fitting today. Most days probably,” he smiled at her. She nodded her agreement.

A thought occurred to him out of the blue, “Do you have songs in your head about others too?”

“Always,” she nodded. She clarified, “They change depending on circumstances and my mood.” He nodded at her and grinned to himself as he thought of a few songs that would fit the red head.

“What about The Jack, for her this afternoon,” he smirked at her. Her brows lifted in response to his reference to another old AC/DC song.

“Let’s hope not for Slim’s sake. Boy’s got enough problems already,” she said with a smile. He nodded.

“What about Big Balls,” he tried again.

She shook her head at him quickly and said, “Hunter, always.” He grinned at her and stroked his chin as he considered some other songs that might fit. She watched him and knew he was trying to come up with others that might fit this afternoon.

“It’s just a little head game I play with myself to keep me sane during the long stretches. Sometimes a song will come on my player and I have to try hard not to laugh because it’s so fitting,” she explained. He nodded but stayed quiet, thinking, she thought.

Their car arrived first. As they were gathering their bags in preparation for loading, Randy sauntered over.

“Hey Dave, think I could catch a ride with you,” he asked the older man. David considered his answer carefully, knowing he needed to get his point across.

“Randy, you know I can always make room for a fellow Evolution member,” he said as he looked past the younger man to the red head, hoping Randy’d get the point. “We don’t have any room for your extra baggage, Buddy,” he said seriously. He knew he didn’t want to have Christy anywhere near him or Lil’ Sis, regardless of how rude he was. Randy looked quickly at David, to make sure he understood the other man’s meaning and nodded.

“That’s alright, man. She has her own ride, I’m sure,” he said heartlessly. David’s eyes widened at his words, but he put his bags in the trunk and got inside the car so he didn’t have to witness the scene that was about to unfold, he was sure. Carrie looked over at her brother in law and smiled, she knew what Randy had just done to the Diva. Randy grabbed his bag, looked at Christy and smiled at her before he said anything.

“Gotta grab a ride so I can get there in time, honey,” he said seriously. He was relieved that his buddy had given him an excuse to pry her off, without him having to make something up. He was getting very tired of having her glued to his hip.

“Randy, how can you say that? I thought we were going to the arena together,” she whined as she watched her man get in the car without her or a backward glance at her. Her eyes narrowed as she caught a glimpse of the other female in the car, through the open door. It was all her fault, she knew. She would get even with her somehow for taking her man away.

Carrie looked over at their passenger and said, “You’re a bastard, aren’t you?”

David wisely stayed quiet but watched his young friend’s reaction to her comment. Randy twisted his mouth into a grimace before he answered.

“Big Sis, you know me better than that. I owe you guys a thanks for letting me get away from her,” he said ruefully.

“What’s the big deal? You’re a big boy. Just tell her you don’t want to play anymore,” Carrie said seriously.

“I’ve tried. Believe me, I’ve tried. She doesn’t take no for an answer,” he explained.

“What? So you’re gonna use us as the excuse to get the hell away from her, is that it,” she demanded. He smiled at her and winked.

“Yeah, it’s perfect. She hates you like poison Big Sis, so it won’t be too much of a stretch for her to believe you made me do it,” he grinned.

“You haven’t changed at all, have you? I thought you might have grown up some, but I guess not,” she said sadly.

“C’mon, Lil’ Sis. You’re being too hard on the sad piece of shit,” David said with a twinkle in his eyes. Randy had started to nod in agreement but stopped once David finished his sentence.

“Hey,” he protested with an injured air.

“Just what that stupid bitch needs, more ammunition. Thanks, thanks a lot Slim,” she said seriously.

David shook his head at her words, knowing she was right. The red head was a pain in the ass to work with, more so if Lil’ Sis was anywhere near. He didn’t understand the other woman’s hatred, but knew he couldn’t do anything about it. He thought it might have something to do with some female jealousy thing. He knew Lil’ Sis would scoff at the idea, thinking she didn’t have anything to be jealous of. He knew better. He had watched the workers at Smack Down as they met her and got to know her a little. Some of the men and most of the women kept their distance from her and she seemed okay with that. It might be that Christy had spread her venom, but some of the female workers were reluctant before she arrived. Who could understand women, he thought. He knew he didn’t. They were all so damn different. He understood his wife most of the time and that was enough for him. He understood Lil’ Sis sometimes, but not as well as her sister.

Randy interrupted his thoughts with, “Hey, can we go through a drive through for some coffee? I’m dying for some, I didn’t get enough sleep and my ass is dragging.” She looked up from her portable and met his gaze. She flicked her eyes over to David and gave him an imperceptible nod, letting him know they had the time.

“Yeah, I don’t see why not. Lil’ Sis, can you ask the driver to find a coffee place so we can get the Legend Killer something since he forgets to sleep at night,” he said with a smirk for the younger man.

Once they were in the drive through lane, all three ordered something from the menu. The voice on the other end repeated their non fat, sugar free orders several times to ensure accuracy. David complimented the voice for her thoroughness and they pulled through to pay. The voice belonged to a young woman that blushed once she saw who was in the limo paying for their order. Randy turned on his charm for her and left her stammering after he kissed her hand as she tried to return his change.

Carrie looked over at him and couldn’t help herself as she smiled at his actions. He was such an arrogant bastard, but he was also a nice guy underneath all the shit. Problem was, he wasn’t comfortable letting the nice guy out yet. She wondered if he just needed to grow up some more or he was always going to be the smooth bastard that he showed most of the world.

They pulled into the arena a few minutes later than planned because of their unexpected detour. Unfortunately, Christy arrived before them and was waiting for them. She had taken a taxi since Randy left her without a ride. She was furious, but not at him. She was furious at the other woman in the car. It was her fault for tempting Randy away from her side.

“Shit,” Randy said as he spotted her walking towards the slowing limo. “Big Sis, favor,” he asked.

She raised her brow at him. She knew what he was asking. She felt bitchy enough to do it for once, so she nodded. David suppressed a surprised grin, knowing that the red head was going to get an eye full once she opened the door. Lil’ Sis gave her portable to David as she climbed on Randy’s lap just before the car stopped. Randy wasted no time as he slid his arms around her, making it appear like they had been occupied during the drive. She artfully buried her head in his neck, partly to hide her grin, but also to appear busy tormenting him. She was wearing one of her power suits, with a short skirt and strappy shoes. Randy slid her skirt up just enough to show the top of her stocking, making the scene appear even more provocative. David grinned as he watched them assemble the scene so quickly. It was like they had practiced it. She knew this would hurt the little bitch more than any words Randy could say. It would also get his point across that he was done with her. David reached over and slipped her shoes off for the finishing touch. He wasn’t sure if he’d be able to hide his grin. He still had some coffee, so he’d just keep that in front of him, he thought. The fact wasn’t lost on her that she willingly climbed on to Randy’s lap when a few years ago she had been forced on to it and that fact had prompted some serious changes within Evolution. That little fact just reminded her how much she disliked the red headed bitch.

“Show time,” David whispered as Christy approached. Randy bent his head and kissed her neck and shoulder, closing his eyes as he did so. She first used her best empty headed giggle, then switched to a pre orgasmic groan at his attentions, knowing that the red head would hear it before she opened the door. The door on their side opened and those inside the car heard a loud intake of breath before any words were uttered. The sight that greeted the red head was that little bitch on her boyfriend’s lap nuzzling his neck and groaning while he had one hand on her upper thigh and the other wrapped around her tightly as he kissed her. He looked up and appeared irritated at the intrusion of the opened door.

“I knew it! You bitch. You couldn’t get one for yourself so you stole mine. You bitch! Randy, how could you? I thought, I thought that we meant something, baby,” she said just before she broke down in tears and ran off sobbing.

“Nice one,” she said quietly as she lifted her head from his chest. “You happy now?”

Randy grimaced, “Not really. But damn it, she wouldn’t go away, no matter how many times I told her no. At least she got the point this time.” He still had his hand on her thigh. She reached over and plucked the offending limb from her leg as she reached for her shoes. David wordlessly handed them to her. He had stayed quiet throughout the entire melodrama.

“Big Sis, you should be on camera. You’re good. You almost had me fooled with your sound effects,” Randy admitted. She could tell exactly how it had affected him since she was still on his lap

David smiled his agreement, “Yeah, I thought for a minute some bimbo had changed places with you.”

“Thanks, I think. But you know the TV thing is never going to happen. It’s just not my thing. Plus, I am not going to get any of Vince’s required enhancements,” she reminded them.

Once she had her shoes on, David stepped out of the car and reached for her hand, so she could get out and off of Randy’s lap. Randy watched her great ass as she exited the car. Too bad, he thought to himself. He knew she’d said she never wanted to be with him, but it didn’t stop him from dreaming. He had heard some whispers about her having some sort of steady partner, but she never said anything about it, so he didn’t ask. He didn’t want to shatter that dream yet. There was always a chance that she might say yes, one time. He was surprised that she had agreed to help him tonight. Maybe she was softening her attitude towards him? He was grateful she had agreed to his request, since he couldn’t think of any other way to make Christy go away. He liked her, but not as much as she thought. He liked some other women more than her, but hadn’t been able to show any of them recently thanks to his entanglement with the red head.

David went to the back of the car and grabbed their bags, in preparation for going through the barriers and into the arena. As they walked up to the security gorillas, Carrie saw their attitude shift from friendly to hostile as they saw her. Interesting, she thought. Christy must have more conquests than she gave her credit for. They demanded to see her pass. She flipped it out of her jacket wordlessly and continued on. David looked back at her with a question in his eyes. She guessed he noticed the change too. She was going to kill Mr. Slim Shady later. Word of his supposed infidelity seemed to have spread ahead of them to where she was greeted with grins or glares from everyone. Everyone seemed to have an opinion. Randy walked beside her quietly, probably noticing the charged atmosphere too, or at least she hoped he did.

As they neared the ladies locker room he said quietly, “Big Sis,” as he reached for her hand to continue the farce. She looked at him and winked, she was bitchy today, she knew. David looked back at them and grinned, he knew what they were doing and why. She knew his opinion of the red head, he told her several times. She had also heard the not so nice version he shared with his wife, thanks to her frequent talks with Kris.

As they neared the men’s locker room, she tried to let go of Randy’s hand so they could go inside to change. Since the move to Smack Down she had stayed outside of the men’s locker room, partly because it was the general locker room and partly because she didn’t really need to go in and stare at the floor as they changed. Randy wouldn’t let go of her hand. She threw him a questioning glance.

“You think I’m going to leave you out here to get torn to shreds by those bitches,” he asked her quietly. So he had noticed the change in attitudes towards her, she wasn’t sure before. David had paused at the door and waited for them. He nodded his agreement to Randy’s words. She sighed, knowing that when the boys got it in their heads that they were protecting her, nothing short of a major bitch fit would make them stop. She decided it wasn’t worth it tonight. She was going to kill Slim, but not tonight.

David stepped through the door first and said something she didn’t hear. He stepped back outside and nodded, indicating it was safe, she thought. She followed Randy in, and kept her eyes down, just in case it wasn’t as safe as David said. She’d been surprised a few times by some of the boys sense of humor, but none quite as severe as Ric’s, she remembered with a grin. She found a corner bench and parked her ass on it, still keeping her eyes down. She noticed the silence in the room, but knew there were some boys inside. David dropped her bag at her feet and mumbled something about being back in a bit. She guessed he went to change. She knew Randy already left her side to do exactly that. She reached into her bag and grabbed her portable, prepared to settle in for a long wait. Sometimes the boys talked longer than a bunch of old women, she giggled to herself.

She was busy with her email so didn’t notice that someone had been standing in front of her for several minutes, until she saw a pair of shoes. She slowly looked up to look into the concerned eyes of her friend, Chris.

“Little One, tell me that what I’m hearing isn’t true,” he asked her.

She closed her portable and smiled before she said, “Depends. Depends on what you’re hearing.”

“Randy? Tell me that I’m hearing things. Randy, for shit’s sake,” he asked her incredulously. She winked into his eyes. His blues eyes widened as he thought he understood her meaning. She could see he understood her incorrectly so she clarified.

“Chris, you should know better than to listen to a bunch of gossip. These boys don’t have anything better to do than sit around and yak at each other,” she explained. At his head shake, she continued. “Slim asked me to help him get rid of her since she didn’t take no for an answer. Stupidly, I agreed and let her open the door on our carefully staged scene. Tell me,” she arched her brow at him, “is there any mention of David being in the car at the time? He was, you know. Even I am not so kinky that I want to have sex in front of my brother in law,” she finished as her brother in law walked back in to the area. Benoit looked over at his friend for confirmation and he nodded and grinned back. Chris let out a relieved breath.

“I thought maybe all this shit was finally getting to you,” he admitted to the small lady as she sat in the corner.

“The news seems to have traveled even faster than the Edge Lita thing. I’m impressed,” she admitted.

Chris grimaced before he explained. “She ran through the entire back area, crying and yelling and telling anyone within a five mile radius what a bitch you are.” She nodded her understanding as she looked over at the guiltiest party as he walked back in.

“What? Bitch wouldn’t let go, man. I couldn’t make her go away, no matter what I called her,” the Legend Killer explained. The three others just shook their heads at him sadly. “I’m going for some food. Anybody else coming,” he asked them. No one took him up on his offer so he shrugged and walked out. Carrie had a horrible thought and grabbed her cell.

“Shit, shit, shit,” she said as she started dialing. David noted her worried expression and asked her about it. “Calling him, buddy. I wouldn’t put it past her. I was going to call and tell him anyway, but I have a feeling that bitch beat me to it.” Answer the god damned phone she thought, as she listened to it ring several times.

Finally he picked it up and said, “Yes,” quietly.

Too quietly for her liking, proving to her that her suspicions were right on target. David saw her clench her jaw and knew that the red headed bitch beat her to the punch. She got up and walked away, deeper into the locker room, not caring if someone was back there or not.

“Mike, I wanted to tell you about a prank that David, Randy and I pulled on that bitch, but it sounds like she already called and told you,” she said quietly.

“A prank? Sure didn’t sound like a prank to me,” he said. “Randy Orton? Jesus Christ Babe, Orton? Why couldn’t you have slept with anyone else,” he asked her.

She heard his tone and knew he was upset and it sounded like he was barely holding it together. Before she realized it, she reached out and slammed the butt of her palm into one of the metal lockers. She severely dented it and caused the two in the other room to peek around the corner at her. She didn’t notice, instead she took a deep breath before she said anything stupid.

“Exactly, honey. Why Randy, for god’s sake? Why would I choose Randy when you know that he’s like a little brother to me? It was a nasty prank, for God’s sake. I don’t know how the fuck she got this number but I intend to find out quickly and kill her slowly,” she finished.

“Why,” he asked quietly. “If you wanted to see other people Babe, all you had to do was tell me.”

“God damn it. That’s what I’m trying to tell you but I’m not doing a very good job. It was a joke. I did not sleep with Randy. Shit, you think I’ve lost what little mind I have left? Did she tell you David was in the car,” she asked him. She knew he didn’t believe her and was trying to think of a way to get him to pull his head back out of his ass.

“Babe, that’s just gross,” he said as he paced furiously.

“Damn it. That’s the whole point. I wouldn’t do that with David in the car. He helped pull the prank on her too. I have to admit he had a hard time not laughing,” she said with a smile so he could hear.

“What,” he asked her. Finally he’s listening, she thought.

“Yes, he was in the car the entire time. Not that it took more than about thirty seconds to get the point across,” she finished.

“What do you mean,” he asked her. His mind skipped back to some of their quickies, but none of them were ever that quick.

She sighed before she told him the rest. By the time she was finished, he was chuckling with her as she explained how David had slipped off her shoes to cap it all off.

“The only problem is that we didn’t count on her telling the whole damn world. The entire roster has already heard about it, I’m sure. She ran around screaming and crying and whining, according to Benoit.” Another thought occurred to her. “How the hell did she get a hold of you,” she asked him. He rubbed his hands over his face before he said anything.

“She called Kris and gave her a number to give to me to call saying she had something important to tell me, something awful had happened or some shit like that, I think,” he admitted as he slowly paced again.

“So she doesn’t have the number,” she asked him for clarification.

“No, it’s still blocked, so I called her and let her fill me full of so much shit. Babe, I’m sorry. I don’t know what the hell I was thinking,” he said quietly.

“Honey, that’s alright. If I would have heard what she told you, I probably would have believed her too. Just remember that if something awful does happen, someone that you know will call you. Not some female you’ve never heard of. It could even be one of David’s OVW buddies, but it won’t be a stranger. Okay? Oh shit,” she said as another thought occurred to her.

“What, babe? What now? Do I need to sit down again,” he asked her, only half joking.

“No, honey. I just need to make sure David has called Kris and let her know we’re both okay. I can only imagine how worried she must be,” she explained.

“Oh, okay. Good idea. Try to let me know next time you decide to pull one of these, Babe. I can only take so much of this shit,” he said seriously.

“I will. I’m sorry for putting you through this shit. You know how the boys are and how nasty it can get sometimes. Don’t worry, I plan on killing Randy later. Or, would you like to do it,” she asked him with a giggle.

“No, let’s let Dave do it,” he chuckled with her. He was so relieved he almost fell on to the couch as his legs gave out.

“Sounds like a hell of a plan. I’ll call later tonight, but I need to give Kris a call. Don’t believe anything from strangers, honey. Just remember that and we’ll be fine,” she said as she prepared to hang up.

“Okay, babe. Sorry for being so gullible. I love you and let’s talk more tonight and you can tell me about the rest of your day,” he said just before he hung up.

She held the quiet phone in her hand for several seconds before she turned quickly and hurled it against the wall. It exploded on impact and little pieces flew all over. That noise brought the other two back into the room.

“You okay,” Chris asked her. David just looked at her, looked at the plastic pieces near the wall and stayed quiet. He’d seen enough hurled phones during his tenure with Evolution to recognize it when he saw it. She nodded at her concerned friend’s question, not trusting herself to speak yet.

“Did you call Kris,” she finally directed at David. He nodded. “I need to borrow your phone,” she said. He frowned, he didn’t want her to throw it so he hesitated.

“Don’t worry, I’m done with my tantrum. Bob will be safe, I promise,” she grinned at him as she held out her hand. She scrolled through his numbers until she found the one she was looking for and hit talk.

“Hi Dave,” a female voice answered.

“Hi Nan . It’s Carrie,” she supplied.

“Carrie? Good to hear from you. You keeping the boys in line or do I need to send Hunter over,” she joked.

“The boys are fine, Nan . It’s the fuckin’ bitches that are making my teeth ache,” she said quietly as she felt her temper rear up again.

“Really,” Nan asked, knowing that Carrie wouldn’t call unless it was something big, something big and nasty. Carrie ignored the stares being directed at her from the two boys, knowing they didn’t normally hear her speak so plainly.

“Remind me, Nan , when the next joint pay per view is,” she asked her fire haired friend. Nan told her with a chuckle.

“Tell me why honey, so I can start planning. It must be good or you wouldn’t have called,” Nan said. Carrie relayed the afternoon’s prank and the unexpected consequences, plus the fact that the news of it seemed to spread faster than Lita sleeping with Edge.

“You mean faster than Christy spreading her legs, don’t you honey,” Nan said with a nasty chuckle.

“Yeah, that too. Nan , let Hunter know about this shit, will ya? I’m sure it’ll make it’s way over there soon and I’d rather he knew about it first,” she asked her friend.

“Of course. I don’t think he’d believe you lost your mind and slept with Randy anyway. You must have been very effective to have convinced a pro,” Nan said with another chuckle for her friend.

“Oh, you’re bad,” Carrie laughed.

“I know. So, what did you have in mind,” Nan asked her petite friend.

“I’m not sure yet. The shittiest part is that she managed to call home and tell him before I got the chance,” she said quietly. She had to hold the phone away for a few moments as Nan vented.

“Tell me you’ve managed to convince him otherwise honey,” she asked.

“Eventually. But that bitch, that…well you know what she is. I’m trying to think of something equally nasty. That’s why I called you,” she laughed.

“Now I get it,” Nan laughed with her. “Fight fire with fire. Okay, let me think for a while and let’s talk tomorrow. Don’t worry hon, I’ll let Hunter know. Take care and make sure to give her hell in the mean time,” she said as she prepared to hang up. She knew she needed to let Hunter know immediately, since things like this seemed to travel at the speed of light.

“I will. Thanks, Nan . Say hi to him for me and we’ll talk tomorrow. Bye,” she said and disconnected.

“Little One, you think it’s wise to involve Nan ,” Chris asked her. David already knew her answer so he didn’t bother to ask her.

“ Nan ’s pissed that she missed the Christy bitch beating last time. No way am I going to cut her out of it this time,” she smiled at him.

The door to the locker room slammed open and a very large angry man walked in. Chris and David both looked at his expression and paled, knowing now would be a good time to leave. Carrie looked over at them and nodded. Chickens, she thought fondly as they withdrew.

“Min, care to explain why your name is being screamed and cried and linked with Orton,” he continued on in a dangerously quiet voice, “Orton? Jesus, Min! Orton?”

“Shit you’re slow, love,” she said as she met his angry glare. He blinked at her. Her response wasn’t what he expected. It made him stop to think for a moment before he said anything else.

“What other gossip have you been listening to, love,” she asked him as she looked him in the eye from her distinct size disadvantage. She looked around for a chair to stand on or something. She didn’t see anything suitable so she sat down instead, forcing him to do the same.

He took several deep breaths to try to calm himself before he said, “That red headed bitch, that woman is calling you a…” he stopped for a moment, knowing exactly what Christy was calling her, but also knowing it was her least favorite word. She looked directly at him and knew exactly what that bitch was calling her, even if he didn’t come right out and say it for fear of her slapping him again.

“Really? I would have thought she’d be more inventive,” she said in to his still irritated glare. He waved his hands in the air, indicating that what the red head was calling her wasn’t important. She looked at him before she said anything. She knew he was upset, not at her so much as what was being said about her and his inability to do or say anything about it. He just wanted answers, she knew.

“Take a deep breath, Old Man. This is going to be fun, believe me,” she said as she reached for his hand. His raised brows belied the fact that it was going to be fun, not matter what she said. It took him a few minutes, but by the time she was mostly done explaining the prank, he was nodding in understanding.

“Why would you go to the hassle to help that little prick,” he asked her. She knew he didn’t really like Randy, but forgot how much until then.

“Because in spite of himself, he’s still a friend. Plus, any time I get to dig a knife in that bitch, I’m happy to play,” she admitted to her large friend. He just shook his head at her sadly.

“I know, not the smartest thing I’ve done in a while, since I didn’t really think it through, but damn it was fun to piss that little bitch off,” she said with a smile.

“Min, I thought we got you past your childish temper,” he said, hoping that he was right, but knowing she’d always have that fire. It was one of the things that kept their life interesting years ago, he remembered.

“Yeah, right,” she shook her head at him. “Most of the time love, that’s true. But that little bitch just irks me and it was too good to pass up today.” She sighed before she continued. “She talked to Mike before I did.”

“Oh shit. Have you talked to him,” he asked her.

“Yeah, he’s okay now. But he wasn’t for a while. That’s what pissed me off today. There are some boundaries and ground rules for these kind of pranks but that bitch is too stupid to know it, so we’ll what happens next,” she ended quietly. ‘Taker looked at her sharply, knowing she had something else up her sleeve. He knew he should try to talk her out of it but he knew it would be pointless and she was right. There were unspoken ground rules about these kind of pranks amongst all the workers and that stupid bitch crossed the line with the wrong lady, he thought with a chuckle. She knew her next announcement would upset him, but wanted him to know about it first hand.

“I called Nan , so she could tell Hunter.” He nodded at her, thinking that was a good idea. “We’re saving it up until the next joint pay per view, then that little bitch gets another taste,” she smiled and stood up. She didn’t want to have an argument with him. It would be pointless and neither would change the other’s mind, they both knew. She left the room and grabbed her bag as she searched for her portable. He watched her go, knowing that she was still the most confusing and possibly the most stubborn woman he had ever known. The more he thought about the prank, the more he laughed at her balls for pulling it off. She must have been convincing, if that red head bought it he thought, unconsciously echoing Nan ’s thoughts.

Part 3 of 4

Next morning she was happy to see her phone was fedex’d and delivered to her room, as requested. She couldn’t stand being with out her phone while they were on the road. She plugged it in to charge and went to take a shower. She was just tucking in her blouse when it rang. She grimaced at the obnoxious sound, knowing she’d change that quickly.

“Ms. Martin, how can I help you,” she said since she didn’t get a chance to see the number.

“Baby, you okay,” he asked her. His concern was easy to hear.

“Yeah, John, I’m fine. Just getting ready for another busy day with the boys. You caught me before breakfast, what’s up,” she asked. She could tell he had something on his mind. He didn’t usually call in the mornings, since he wasn’t a morning person.

“Mike okay, Baby,” he asked her. He was working himself up to asking her, but wasn’t sure how to do it.

“Yes, he’s fine. I talked to him last night and he was fine then,” she said. Her mind wandered a little as she remembered some of their conversation. He had been hesitant to answer her call since she had to use the hotel’s phone. He left her with some nice thoughts to go to sleep with last night. She focused back into her conversation.

“Why? Did something happen that you’re not telling me,” she asked him.

He shook his head at her question, thinking it was strange to ask him that when he wanted to ask her the same. Screw it, he thought. He didn’t know how else to ask her so he was just going to do it.

“Baby,” he asked her.

“Yes, John,” she said keeping a grip on her patience. It was way too early to be losing it today. Their day was too full of commitments.

“Why didn’t you call me, Baby? I thought that you would have called me, but then I hear…,” he stopped before he said anything else. He got pissed just thinking about it.

“John, what the hell are talking about,” she asked him, still keeping a grip, but it was getting tenuous.

“Orton, Baby? I thought that if you needed someone, you would’ve called me. I thought we meant at least that much but then I hear about Orton and I don’t know…,” his voice trailed off. He was confused and hurt.

“Shit, is that all you’re talking about? You had me worried that it was something important,” she laughed.

He was more confused and even more hurt by her words. She stopped for a moment when she noticed his silence, finally understanding some of his words. She sighed loudly so he could hear as she sat down on the bed, hoping the new phone had enough of a charge to allow her to talk.

“John, it was a prank. It wasn’t real. It didn’t happen, honey. Why the hell would I sleep with Randy? You know he’s like a little brother to me? That’s just nasty,” she said quietly as she waited for him to understand what she told him.

“What? A prank? On who? On me? If so, it worked like a charm,” he said disgustedly.

“No sweetie, on that red headed bitch.” She knew he didn’t need a name, he’d know exactly who she was referring to.

“I don’t get it, Baby. I still don’t understand Orton,” he asked. She raked her fingers through her still wet hair.

“John, are you sitting down,” she asked. He admitted he was. “Good, because this will take a while, but it’s funny as hell once you understand it,” she said gently. By the time she was finished, he understood and was able to chuckle about it, now that he was waking up and hearing that she really didn’t sleep with Orton. That thought had kept him wide awake most of the night.

“Tell me why Triple H was laughing all last night, Baby. The later it got and the more this shit spread, the more he laughed and smiled. It was eerie. I don’t get that part,” he said.

“I talked to Nan and asked her to tell him so he’d know it was shit, instead of thinking the worst of me, like you,” she said with a gentle rebuke.

“Sorry Baby. I was surprised and thought maybe you and Mike had a fight or something. That’s why I…I…shit, you know,” he finished lamely. She did know, but wasn’t going to say anything about it. The less said the better, she felt.

“Hunter was laughing last night, huh? That’s good news. I was worried that he might have been pissed because I was pretty stupid and didn’t think it through. The worst part of all if this shit is she managed to talk to Mike and fill him full of so much shit. If it makes you feel any better, he thought exactly like you. He didn’t have any faith in me either,” she said quietly.

“Sorry Baby. I was just so surprised. How did she get in touch with him? Is he okay now,” he asked her.

That was crossing the line, he knew. What went on with the workers stayed with the workers, you didn’t get their families and friends back home involved. Oh shit, he thought again. Christy was in for something, something pretty serious if he knew his Baby.

“He’s okay now. He felt like a shit for believing her. He said he’d make it up to me tomorrow,” she said with a chuckle.

“Good. I was just so worried, Baby. I’m sorry that I thought you’d be with Orton. It just didn’t make any sense to me,” he admitted. She smiled as she realized he was apologizing to her for her prank. Life was definitely throwing her some curve balls recently.

“That’s okay. I’m all better now and I have a new phone to play with this morning. It’s starting to beep at me so I better let you go. I’ll talk to you later, John. Thanks for calling, thanks for asking me instead of believing everything you hear. Keep your ears and eyes peeled at the next joint pay per view. It should prove very interesting,” she said with a giggle.

“Okay Baby. I’ll let you go. I’ll try to not worry so much with the shit I hear. That’s what was so worrying. I never hear shit about you, but then that. It was just too weird, Baby. I’ll talk to you later and try to have a good day today. Miss you, Baby,” he said as he hung up.

She closed her new cell and plugged it back in. She played back the beginning of the conversation and his comments in her mind. She sighed when she finally realized what he had been trying to say. She had hoped that he was done with that, but obviously not. Damn.

Her ruminations were cut short by a quiet knock on her door. She frowned, as she heard it, not sure who would be knocking this early. She glanced at her watch to verify the time. Yeah, she still had half an hour until David was due to collect her and her bags. Another quiet knock brought her attention back to the door. She did a quick survey of herself to make sure was decent enough for visitors and walked barefooted back to the door and peeked out the spy hole. What the hell was he doing at her door at this time in the morning was her first thought, her second thought was that he looked like shit.

She opened the door and said without any preamble, “Slim, you look like something the cat dragged in. What the hell happened?”

“Can I come in,” he asked. He had his bags with him, she noted. She nodded and stepped aside to let him in. The hallway was empty.

“What the hell happened to you,” she asked him. He didn’t normally look like he hadn’t slept, even when it was true.

He sat on her bad before he said anything. He had left his bags just inside her door. “I didn’t get any sleep, thanks to Christy.”

Her head snapped up and she directed an angry glare at the exhausted looking soul lounging on her bed, “God damn it, don’t tell me I went through that shit yesterday just so you could frolic with her again.” Her temper reared itself at his words.

He held his hands out and said, “Hell no. Bitch knocked on my door, rang my cell, rang my room all damn night. I turned the ringer off on my cell, but I ended up having to unplug the room’s phone.” He shook his head at he remembered his long and frustrating night. He noticed Big Sis was shaking her head as he explained.

“Is she stupid,” was all she asked him. He shook his head and shrugged. He’d never understand women, that one in particular.

“She kept crying and trying to get me to come back to her? She just doesn’t get it,” he said as he scratched his freshly shaven chin.

“I knew she wasn’t too bright, but Slim, I think you’ve out done yourself this time,” she grinned at him.

“I have a big favor to ask you,” he said. It was the only way he could think of to drive the point home. She obviously didn’t understand the word no, or hell no, no matter how many times he said it and he also knew that he was safe asking Big Sis, she wouldn't think it was something more than it was. Carrie sighed because she knew what he had in mind and she knew she would agree to it if it was feasible with their schedules, but she wasn’t going to make it easy on him and just say yes without him saying anything.

“Oh,” was all she said as she folded her arms across her lilac blouse and raised a brow at him. He looked at her, hoping she’d agree to it, even though it was a taping day and they tended to be more hectic.

“Yeah, can you play along for another day? I’ve told her no, I’ve told her hell no and she was still crying and whining last night, no matter what I said. I don’t think she believed us,” he said from his reclined position on her bed.

“What’s your schedule like today,” she asked him with out capitulating.

“Same as Dave’s,” he shrugged. She grabbed her portable to verify his words. He watched her as she tapped some keys and waited. He knew she was bringing his schedule up to verify that it was the same as Dave’s. He had no idea where she got the info from and probably didn’t want to know, but she did. After a couple of minutes, she looked up and nodded.

“You’re right. It’s close enough,” she said as she finished tapping some keys to cancel his car.

“Does this mean you’ll do it,” he asked as he stretched his neck and yawned.

“Yeah, but you owe me big for this one, Slim,” she said as she looked at him reclined on her bed. She could see he was just about ready to drift off. He grunted in response. She closed her portable and grabbed her tights and walked to her bathroom so she could finish getting ready for the day in private. They might be pretending to sleep together but she wasn’t going to slide her tights up in front of him if she didn’t have to.

By the time she came back out, just a few minutes later, Randy was snoring quietly on her bed, fully clothed. She smiled at his face and how young he looked when he was asleep. He would hate to know she thought of him as young or a baby, but she did. She couldn’t help it. She had the same problem with Wease. It didn’t matter that he was grown and had a family of his own, he would always be her baby brother to her. They were roughly the same age, so it wasn’t a huge surprise to her that she thought of them the same way. She gathered up her stuff and made sure all was packed away before she grabbed her book and sat down to read some of it before beginning another day filled with charades. After a quick thought, she grabbed her portable and tapped out a quick email to Mike and Kris, letting them know about round two for today. She didn’t trust the red head, didn’t trust that she wouldn’t pull the same shit twice.

Another quiet tap at her door, but it was a tap she recognized. After a quick peek through the spy hole to confirm, she opened the door and put her fingers to her lips, telling David to be quiet. He frowned and looked over her to see Randy sound asleep on her hotel bed. He looked at her, quirked a brow and waited. She smiled at him as she shook her head.

“Herself isn’t too bright. She called him all night long so poor baby didn’t get any sleep. Plus today is round two of the same shit, just to drive the point home,” she finished quietly. He looked at her and shook his head. He had no problem having Randy with them today, since the schedule was fairly light, but was surprised that she had agreed to play again today. She watched his doubts flash across his face since he was terrible at hiding his emotions, no matter what he thought.

“You up for that shit,” he asked her. She shrugged and nodded, since she really disliked that particular diva anyway and another day to dig the knife in was fine by her. She was waiting for a call from Nan today so they could discuss their ideas and work out the logistics. She had already tweaked the hated red head, but knew she wouldn’t know about it until much later.

She looked over at Randy sleeping, checked her watch and looked at David and grinned. He knew she was going to fuck with him, he could tell by her grin. He stayed quiet and tried to hide his own grin.

“Baby, time to wake up,” she breathed into his ear as she leaned into him. He smiled and mumbled, but his eyes stayed closed. “Randy honey, time to go,” she said a little louder.

“Okay baby, okay. Just give me a minute,” he mumbled as he opened his eyes slowly with a smile and looked directly into her green eyes. It took him several long seconds to fully wake up and realize she was grinning at him. It took him several more seconds to realize he had been having a great dream, and she was fucking with him.

“Oh man, that’s not fair. No fair,” he groused as he struggled to sit up and hide his erection. David looked at the young man on the bed and smiled as he shook his head. To have the simple problems he had and to think they were a huge deal, that would be nice if his life were so simple again.

"I hear you get to carry her bags today," was all David said to Randy as he turned and headed towards her room door. Randy blinked as he levered himself off her bed and grabbed all the bags. Thank God she always traveled light, he thought quickly. Christy used to have three big bags, stuffed full of who knew what, but she always had to pay extra for them and she would never leave them behind. Big Sis only ever traveled with her carry on and a small bag, he was pleased to remember. How the hell did she fit all her shit in one bag when it took most of the ladies at least two, he questioned as he followed both of the others out the room and to the elevator. Randy watched as David pushed the button for the elevator and thought back briefly to sleeping with her scent filling his nose and his dreams. He knew he was a stupid shit for even thinking about her that way, but he couldn’t stop himself. He tried to hide his frown as another man walked up and waited with them for the elevator.

“What are you doing saddled with the wonder kid again this morning, Min,” he asked her as he completely ignored the object of his question.

“Seems herself ain’t too damn bright. We’re up for round two today, just so I can dig the knife in a little deeper,” she said with a wink for her long time friend. She knew he wouldn’t approve but it wasn’t going to change her mind.

“His taste has always left a lot to be desired. He’s never been known for picking the bright ones. Hell, the smart ones won’t touch him,” he said as he looked directly at Randy for the first time. Randy raised his eyes and returned The Undertaker’s direct look but stayed silent. He knew he didn’t want to mess with him, especially being as dead ass tired as he was. Any other comment was cut short by the elevator finally arriving, empty thankfully. David had stayed quiet and kept his opinions to himself. He was of a similar mindset of ‘Taker, but also wanted to be able to help out Randy if he could with such a simple problem.

All were silent in the elevator, staring at nothing as the early hour and proper elevator etiquette dictated.

Once the doors opened to the lobby, ‘Taker turned and nodded at David and gently squeezed Carrie’s shoulder and said quietly, “Be careful.” She met his eyes and winked just before he turned and left without a word to Randy.

David remembered in time to whisper, "Show time" to the couple just before they walked in to the lobby. Randy reached out and grabbed her hand with his free hand and smiled at her surprised expression. She took a deep breath, squared her shoulders and was ready for the charade to continue. She looked for their audience in the lobby. She scanned again and didn't see the dim witted red head but did see several other wrestlers. She was very aware of all the sets of eyes that tracked their movements from one side of the lobby to the other and out the doors to wait for their car. She blew out her breath quietly as she stood off to the side of the main doors and searched for their car. Randy gave her hand a gentle squeeze, noting her discomfort at being the center of attention. David had noted that she kept her chin up, shoulders squared, but knew her and how uncomfortable she was at being singled out. She thought that others never noticed her usually. That wasn't the case, but it wasn't normally as obvious as this morning, he knew. She shook her hand free of Randy and started to walk to what she thought might be their car. David saw her movement and nudged Randy to gather up their shit so they could follow, hoping that Lil Sis was right about the car. He knew she wanted to be out of public view as soon as possible. She looked back to them and nodded. The trunk opened for them to deposit their luggage and she walked forward to speak with the driver directly. They climbed in and waited for her to return. David frowned a few minutes later when she hadn’t returned. He was just getting ready to get out and ensure that she was okay when the door opened and she slid in to the seat facing them.

“Any problems,” David asked her. She looked irritated, but he saw her take a deep breath before she said anything.

“Nothing major, no. Just a little communication breakdown. Someone’s been trying to screw with stuff,” she grinned at Randy and winked. He frowned, not sure of her meaning. “It won’t happen again,” she said as she flipped open her portable and grabbed her new phone and dialed, once she found the number she wanted.

David and Randy were silent as they listened to her pleasantly voice her extreme displeasure at the incompetent booking agent and their inability to follow the detailed instructions that were provided. She then reminded them how much business she directed their way and if they were unable to follow her wishes, she would be happy to go to a competitor for all her transportation needs. She verified that they understood that no reservations were allowed to be changed at any time without her authorization and pin number, regardless. She smiled into the phone and thanked them for their time and reminded them to have a nice day as she hung up.

Randy was still trying to understand what he just heard. David spoke up and said, “She’s pretty dumb, isn’t she?”

“I think we already established that,” she smirked. “She has no idea who she just tried to fuck with. Now I get to have just a bit of fun,” she said to no one as she flipped open her portable and started tapping some keys.

“Christy, she tried to cancel the car,” Randy asked as he rubbed his hand over his hair.

He was struggling with the idea of the red head coming up with that. He didn’t think she was vindictive. David nodded at him and kept quiet. He had an idea of the kind of things Lil’ Sis could do if she chose to with her portable and it looked like she was in one of those kind of moods.

The car stopped to let them out from their short drive to the airport. She flipped her portable closed with a smile and reached for Randy’s hand without prompting. They easily navigated all the ticketing and security check points. They had a few minutes to wait until boarding.

“You gonna share with me what the hell you did,” David asked her quietly.

“No,” she said with a wink.

Randy was still struggling to get back up to speed. He was tired and it had been a while since he’d traveled with Big Sis manipulating his schedule. He already appreciated the ease of the car and the speed of the check in and security screening. But then maybe the security ease might be due to his and Dave’s size, but it was welcome change from the last few weeks of having Christy anchored to him. He frowned just remembering some of their airport hassles with her baggage and her incessant whining.

Those thoughts were in his mind as he reached for her hand and said, “I’ve missed this. I’ve missed you.” She blinked at him and his words.

“Don’t get used to it, Slim. You already owe me big for this shit,” she reminded him with a smirk.

He sighed and nodded. He didn’t mean anything by his words, he just missed traveling with friends that accepted him regardless and the way she smoothed out everything. First class was called for boarding and Carrie stood up. They both looked at her like she’d lost her mind. Since she had done of the check in electronically, they were unaware of the changes she had finagled.

“C’mon boys. They’re calling us,” she grinned at them.

“Since when,” David asked. They didn’t normally waste the money on first class unless it was a long flight and today didn’t qualify.

She grinned at him and said, “Since they almost screwed up with the car and they want to keep us happy.” David shook his head and grabbed his carry on. Randy was right behind him, enjoying the hell out of traveling with them again. Big Sis always made shit better, he remembered.

They settled into their seats and Randy reclined his, ready to sleep before take off, before the rest of the passengers finished loading. Carrie nudged David and looked over at Randy, who was already sleeping. David shook his head and smiled. Randy would have time to sleep this afternoon, he knew. He also knew they were on one of the early flights so they had plenty of time at the destination, unlike the rest of the roster. Carrie settled into her big seat and pulled out her book to read. David reclined his seat to try to catch some sleep while he could.

Their flight was uneventful, particularly since Randy managed to sleep the entire three hour flight. They found their luggage and their car with ease. Randy followed behind and had a hard time not grinning as he remembered how much he had taken for granted all the shit Big Sis used to do when she traveled with them. Now that he’d been traveling without her for an extended period, he fully appreciated her skills and how Dave and he benefited. Today was typical, smooth flight, smooth car pickup, smooth hotel check-in. He even saw that she had booked his dad into a room next door. He was due in later today and would appreciate the fact that he was staying in an upgraded room. He was looking forward to his dad meeting Big Sis, he realized. He’d talked about her enough, especially when she first started helping Dave. He remembered his dad’s reaction to Christy with a scowl, hoping that he wouldn’t be the same way with Big Sis. Depending on the time, he might have to end up meeting his dad at the arena, it all depended on his dad’s arrival time. Big Sis had made sure to give him some time this afternoon to snag some sleep if he wanted or gym or what ever else he wanted to do.

“You want to grab some lunch,” David asked both of them as they waited for the elevator to take them up to their rooms.

Carrie shrugged, she didn’t care. Randy nodded, he could always eat. Carrie looked at both of them and shook her head sadly, as she remembered how much they could eat.

“There’s a decent place next door or did you want something else,” she asked.

The elevator arrived, almost already full from the parking garage so their conversation was cut off as they squeezed in and David reached for the button. Randy’s lips twitched as he tried to hide his grin at several young ladies in the elevator that were whispering and giggling as quietly as they could. Carrie glanced at David and saw his smile too. The doors opened and the two young gigglers had to squeeze past them to get out. Randy stepped out so they could pass and smiled at them. Both of them blushed at his actions and giggled as they thanked him. They were very young, too young for even Randy, David surmised. He’d put their age at roughly the same as Liz, but it was getting harder and harder to tell, he thought ruefully.

Randy shook his head as he unlocked his room and set his bags down. He forgot a lot of the things that Big Sis used to do for them. After a quick discussion, they had decided to meet in Dave’s room, then go from there to the place next door. He knew he’d gotten into the habit of relaxing in his room after he arrived, if he had time. He was glad they’d have a chance to eat before going to the arena tonight. It was just another one of the things she managed without blinking an eye.

As they walked through the door of the restaurant, Big Sis walked right up to the hostess and told them they had a reservation. They did? When the hell did she do that, Randy wondered. David heard her give the name Lewis to the hostess. He frowned, wondering why she didn’t use her name as she usually did. He’d ask her about it once they were seated.

Once they were settled and their orders had been placed, David turned to Lil’ Sis and said, “Why’d you use a different name today? You usually use your own.”

He saw her confusion at his words. Randy watched, but stayed quiet. He remembered that was the best way to learn shit, keep his mouth shut and ears open when he was around Evolution, even if it was just Dave and Big Sis.

“I did,” she said with a small frown.

David shook his head as he said, “Um no, Lil Sis, you didn’t.”

“Are you sure? I must have,” she worried and twisted her hair.

“You told them Lewis, not Martin,” he said as he took a long drink from his water.

He saw her eyes open wide and the color drain from her face. She looked down at the table for a moment in silence, then looked up at him clearly distressed. He was astonished to see her eyes filled with unshed tears. She quickly excused herself from the table without a backward glance at either of them and disappeared. Randy looked over at Dave, hoping for some enlightenment at Big Sis’s quick exit. Dave shrugged and shook his head, he had no idea.

She came back just before their orders were served so no comment was made about her earlier escape as the boys tended to the important matter of eating. She had ordered a simple salad, knowing it would be safe for her. She was finished long before the two large men sitting opposite her. She had turned over and over her reasons, and what she was going to tell them. She’d just use the easiest excuse, knowing they’d accept it since they couldn’t disprove it.

“You okay now,” Randy asked as he finished up his meal. The size of the prime rib portion was large enough to feed a small family, she thought.

She met his eyes and smiled, “Yeah, sorry. Damn pms is no fair some days. Makes me a basket case. I’ll try to be normal for the rest of the day.”

She smiled into David’s surprised and unbelieving eyes. He knew she wasn’t normally irrational due to pms, she just got killer cramps sometimes, but she wasn’t going to say anything more he could tell.

“When’s the old man due in today,” she asked Randy, effectively switching the topic to safe ground.

“It all depends. Depends on the weather. Last I talked to him, he was planning on being here by four. So we should see him soon, I think,” Randy said.

He liked having his dad with him for taping days. He was cool and had some great stories, but he was also glad he didn’t travel with him all the time. His thoughts flashed back to Christy and he frowned unconsciously.

“You don’t look too happy about that,” David said as he noted his frown.

“What,” Randy asked. “Oh, nah. Nothing, nothing important. Dad’s cool.”

They signed for their food and left the servers a nice tip because they were effective but unobtrusive, something that was a rarity for the boys now. They walked back over to the hotel and went back to their respective rooms for whatever they wanted to do. Carrie took the opportunity to change so she could use the hotel’s gym. She hadn’t eaten a huge meal so she would be fine busting her ass for an hour before it was time to go to the arena. Randy took the opportunity to catch up on some much needed sleep. David picked up his phone and talked to his kids, then asked them to pass the phone to his wife. His mind was elsewhere when he spoke to her so he forgot to ask her about Carrie’s odd behavior today at the restaurant.

Part 4 of 4

Carrie was finished in the hotel’s gym after busting her ass while trying to think of ways to torment the hell out of Christy. She hoped Nan had some ideas because most of the ones she could come up with were illegal and she didn’t want to tangle with the law again. She was in the elevator in her nike warm up pants and double tank tops and water jug. The elevator stopped at the lobby and opened. Cowboy Bob Orton joined her. He glanced at the panel and saw that the correct number was already pressed. He looked at her and smiled. He had the feeling he recognized her from somewhere, he just wasn’t sure where. The doors opened on to the right floor and they both left. They both turned the same way and he smiled at her. She must be with the company, he thought. She might know where his son’s room was, most of the pretty girls did. He was dying to meet his son’s new girlfriend. He’d heard so much about her already. He’d had a few phone calls telling him the red head was history. Too bad, he thought. She was a firecracker and full of fun.

“Excuse me ma’am. Do you know where Randy Orton’s room is,” he asked her with a twinkle in his eye. Oh boy, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, she thought as she noted his twinkle.

“Sure, he’s in room 615. This way,” she pointed as she continued the same way.

He nodded, mumbled thank you and tipped his hat quickly as he kept her in sight. She stopped in front of Randy’s door and knocked. Randy opened it as he rubbed his eyes and struggled to wake up.

“Look who I found wandering the halls, Randy,” she smirked.

“Thanks, Carrie. Thanks,” he said as he glanced at his dad.

The effect of Randy’s words was instant. Cowboy Bob dropped his bags and picked her up and laughed.

“So this is the girl! By gawd son, you think you’re gonna be nice to your old man?” he said without explanation.

“Dad. Dad,” was all Randy got out before Cowboy Bob continued.

“I thought I was gonna miss that little firecracker but Carrie looks like she’s gonna be a lot more fun,” he said as he shifted his hands and gripped her ass appreciatively.

“Dad, no. This is Carrie,” Randy tried to explain.

“I know, I know son. And I damned happy to meet ya, little lady,” he said as he pulled her tight to him. The ‘little lady’ stayed quiet at first, not sure what the hell was going on, but not wanting to hurt Randy’s dad. The more she heard, the more disgusted she became at Randy and at Christy.

“Dad, no! Carrie is different.” At his dad’s smirk he tried again. “It’s not like that. Not at all,” Randy said as he shook his head and tried to get the point across without having to come right out and say it. He didn’t want Big Sis to know how disgusting he had been, and what Christy had done. He didn’t think that she would at the time, but she didn’t even blink at his dad’s request.

Cowboy Bob frowned as he looked at the small lady he had in his arms and met her eyes. He saw her serious look and realized his mistake. Oh boy, how was he going to make it up to her and how was he going to explain his improper behavior?

“Sorry ma’am,” he said as he set her back on her own feet and tried to straighten her tops.

“Dad. Dad, don’t. Just go,” Randy said quietly.

He couldn’t meet Big Sis’s eyes. He knew she knew and she must be disgusted with him and his dad. He felt like a child caught misbehaving and he valued her good opinion more than he realized until now. Cowboy Bob picked up his bags and went into his son’s room and closed the door. He was ashamed at his behavior, thinking that since the firecracker had been willing that the beautiful tiny one would be too. What had he been thinking? He hadn’t been, obviously.

She looked at Slim without a word, but her eyes spoke volumes. She put her hands on her hips and waited. She wanted him to tell her that her ideas were wrong, that they didn’t share women, that his dad hadn’t thought he’d get to have her as well since she was Randy’s girlfriend. She waited and he just held her gaze without comment. She finally got so irritated with him that she looked away and blew out her breath.

“Carrie,” he started to say but she stopped him with a look.

“Don’t. Don’t lie to me, don’t tell me I just imagined things. Don’t tell me that my ass won’t have big bruises in the shape of hands on it! Just don’t. Slim, whatever you choose to do is your thing. Just don’t get me involved in it, again.” She glared at him and clamped her lips shut on some of the other words that were threatening to spill out.

“I’m sorry. Did he hurt you? You okay,” he asked the tiny furious woman. She rubbed her hands across her tender ass and shook her head.

“I’ll be fine, just my ego is bruised. I am not used to be picked up and mauled and I don’t like it. Don’t let it happen again,” she said in a dangerous tone. He nodded as her serious look.

“Big Sis, does this mean I’m fucked for tonight,” he couldn’t help asking. She rolled her eyes, trust him to think of himself and his own ass. Damn it.

“It depends on what you called fucked, now doesn’t it? You and I have very different ideas when it comes to that obviously. Will I continue our charade tonight? God help you if you fuck it up again, but yeah since I gave you my word. I will continue this farce, but for my own reasons, not yours. Never think I’m doing this for you only. That little bitch has only had a taste of me and mine. Stay clear of her Slim, it won’t be pretty,” she said as she walked away.

Shit, what a day already. She hoped Nan would call soon so they could compare ideas and she could share what she had learned about that stupid bitch that had nothing to do with Randy. She opened her room door, checked the time and saw she had half an hour or so before David was due to knock. She flipped open her new phone and dialed Kris.

“Hey,” a very distracted Kris said as she answered.

“Is now a bad time? I can call back later,” Carrie asked her. She could hear some giggling in the background but wasn’t able to tell if it was good giggling or naughty.

“No, now is fine. The girls are just being silly,” she supplied as she walked into a quieter part of the house. She knew her sister would know she was referring to Liz and her inseparable friend Jess.

“I don’t have much time so I have to be quick but I have a question to ask you. You sitting down,” she almost chuckled as she asked Kris.

“Really? That good, eh?”

“You won’t fucking believe it. My question is how do I explain two large hand shaped bruises on my ass? Any ideas? Think Mike’ll notice,” Carrie laughed at her sister’s snort over the phone.

“Oh honey. This better be good. I can hardly wait,” she said as she poured herself an afternoon beer.

Kris listened as Carrie told her about the escapade in the hallway and all the ramifications.

“We had heard rumors, you remember,” Kris asked her when she was finished.

“Yeah, but that was a long time ago. When she was still trying to win,” Carrie said.

“Seems like old habits are hard to break,” Kris said.

“That’s just gross. I am definitely going to kill Slim later,” Carrie said to her sister.

“My advice is just tell him,” Kris said.

“What? Tell him what,” Carrie asked since she was thinking of ways to beat the shit out of Slim.

“Mike. Tell Mike. Honey, he’s gonna notice because he loves your ass.”

“How would you know? He hasn’t said anything, has he,” Carrie asked, slightly shocked.

“No, he doesn’t have to. He has a thing for your ass. I think he’s probably an ass man. You know what I mean,” Kris asked her sister.

Kris had seen Mike look at her sister’s ass many times and he seemed to have a hard time concentrating when he did. Definite signs of being an ass addict in her book.

“At least he’s not a leg man. I don’t have much of them,” she chuckled.

“You don’t have much of an ass either honey, but he likes it. Just tell him, don’t wait until you get home,” Kris advised.

Another thought occurred to Carrie. “You think I should tell Nan ?” Her question was met with uproarious laughter.

“Oh yeah! Definitely! In fact, call me so I can be in on it. I want to hear what she says,” Kris said with a wicked chuckle.

“I’m supposed to be talking to her today so we can plan little bitch’s payback. She’ll be sharpening her knives soon, I’m sure. I gotta go, but thanks for the advice. I’ll call him this evening. I didn’t tell Randy I wouldn’t say anything, but I don’t plan on it. I know you’re gonna tell David, but ask him to keep it quiet. Hell for all we know, he might already know about Christy,” she said.

“I’ll kill him if he does. Take care honey and watch that ass,” Kris said just before she hung up with a laugh.

After that call, she hopped in the shower so she’d be ready when David knocked. She had minutes to spare. She had opted to change into one of her business suits with slacks tonight. It was cold and she really didn’t want to face stockings again.

His knock was right on time, as usual. She opened the door and met his smirk with a head shake. She knew he’d talked to Kris and she’d told him everything.

“Bruises,” he asked her.

“You have no idea,” she said as the two others walked up.

Cowboy Bob extended his hand to David and they shook like old friends. As far as she knew, they were. David had met him many times, but she hadn’t yet for whatever reason.

Cowboy Bob tipped is hat to her and blushed as he said, “Ma’am.”

Randy looked at his dad sharply, but stayed quiet. He’d already told his dad how pissed off he was at him. How much he’d fucked up today with Big Sis. He wasn’t sure how long he was going to take until he wasn’t pissed at him anymore. Randy reached for her small bag and they all turned to the elevator. Carrie smiled when she saw Old Man waiting for the elevator too. She hoped he was gonna fuck with Slim again. He smiled at her, nodded at David and Cowboy Bob, but ignored Randy.

“Carrie, you know you still have over six feet of shit following you around,” ‘Taker chuckled.

David’s brows raised at ‘Taker’s words, but he stayed quiet. The elevator arrived and they stepped in as the only passengers. Randy tried to glare at the older man, but ‘Taker returned his glare, totally unimpressed at the younger man’s efforts. The elevator opened again to the parking level and they all stepped out. ‘Taker squeezed Carrie’s shoulder again and left them as he walked to his car.

“Asshole,” Randy muttered under his breath.

“Randy, I wouldn’t be saying that too loud, son,” Cowboy Bob said seriously.

“What the fuck do you know about it,” Randy snapped at his dad.

“Hey, aren’t we supposed to save that shit for the cameras,” David asked both men.

Carrie had stayed quiet and out of harms way as she looked for their car. She knew why Slim was being an ass to his dad, David did too, but no one spoke of it. She felt bad for Cowboy Bob, surprisingly. His son was the one being an asshole, as far as she was concerned. It wasn’t his fault that his new ‘girlfriend’ wasn’t like the last one. Randy forgot to tell him that so he had made an ass out of himself and her. Yup, she felt bad for him, but not for Slim. She waved them over to their car a she walked forward to talk to the driver as was her custom.

Randy was lost in thought as he walked towards the waiting car.

He had been fighting an upset stomach all day, not sure if it was something he ate or the flu or what. His dad was with them for three shows so they could iron out the timing before the taping. Because it was last minute, there wasn’t a spare room for his dad, so he took the spare bed in the room he shared with Christy.

He hadn’t really paid attention to her all night because he wasn’t feeling well, but he did notice some harmless flirting between the two. That was typical for both his dad and Christy so he didn’t pay it any attention. He’d seen his dad flirt for years, even before his mom passed away. It seemed to be as natural as breathing to him.

Once they were all settled into the room and wake up calls arraigned, he decided he needed to take a cold shower to calm his head and guts down. He was just finishing up drying off and stepping out the bathroom when he looked up and stopped in his tracks. He knew his eyes were wide, but he managed to shut his mouth in case they looked his way.

His dad was sitting at the end of the bed with his pants down around his ankles. Christy was kneeling in front of him with her head in his lap and was making all kinds of encouraging noises to him as she slid her tongue around his cock. He watched as she took his dad’s cock into her mouth and closed her eyes as if his was the best tasting cock she’d ever had. He recognized that look and realized she must use it all the time. He shook his head ruefully at his ignorance, he had thought it was just for him, but he knew better now. He glanced away and saw that his dad’s boots were off and by his case. He wondered if they cared that he was in the room at all. He knew Christy was always ready for sex, it was one of the best things about her, he admitted. But coming on to his dad? That was just a little too much, even for him. He didn’t blame his dad, at least not very much. If some young babe wants to suck your cock, he seriously doubted that his dad would’ve turned them down, who ever they were.

“Oh, you are a good girl, ain’t ya,” Cowboy Bob groaned.

He reached forward with a large hand and grabbed her red hair, so he could control her pace. Randy saw her look up at his dad and smile. He watched as she let herself be controlled by his dad and she looked almost orgasmic at his attentions. Randy thought that was strange, since she wasn’t getting anything from him.

His confusion was stopped when his dad said, “That’s enough of that little girl. I want something else,” he grinned at her. She gave his cock one final long lick and smiled at him.

“We don’t have to rush this. I’m sure Randy won’t mind,” she said as she stood up and straddled his lap.

Randy saw that she was pantyless as well as shirtless as he watched her settle on his dad’s cock as well as his lap. Cowboy Bob reached for one of her large breasts and stroked his fingers over it as she smiled. Randy had seen enough, he coughed and walked into the room in his towel. He had thought his entrance would have caused them to jump apart in embarrassment. He was wrong. He saw his dad attempt to lift Christy off, but she wouldn’t allow it. She kept her legs clenched around his hips.

“Hi Randy,” she said through her lashes. “You feeling any better baby?”

He was amazed at her. She was sitting buck ass naked on his dad’s lap with someone else’s cock buried i
